As I reflect on the I Am Beautiful event, the word that comes to mind is grateful. I am profoundly grateful to have shared such a wonderful day with so many beautiful big and little girls sharing empowering words of affirmation and experiences. It was an absolute joy to experience this event with each and every girl, learning lab host, sponsor and volunteer.

Another highlight for me was while signing books. A young lady walked up to me and said, "I am beautiful, I am confident, and I am one-of-a-kind." At that moment, I knew: mission accomplished.
